Algorithm2e is an environment for writing algorithms. 

Release 3.9 fixes all the known bugs, references problem with hyperref 
and add several new features as sidecomment.

An algorithm is defined as a floating object like figures.  It provides 
macros that allow you to create different sorts of key words, thus a 
set of predefined key words is given. You can also change the typography 
of the keywords.  The environment allows you to have vertical lines 
delimiting block of instructions.  It defines also different sort of 
algorithms such as Procedure or Function allowing name of this functions 
to be reused in common text or other algorithms.
