This package provides the command \marginnote that may be used instead of 
\marginpar at almost every place, where \marginpar cannot be used, e.g. inside 
floats, footnotes, frames made with framed package ...
 
Changes at version 1.1a:

 - with pdfTeX >= 1.40 usage of \pdfsavepos and \pdfxpos also in DVI mode
 
 - distribution with marginnote.tds.zip instead of marginnote.texmf.zip
