A new package has been installed on tug.ctan.org and should make its
way through the mirroring process in the next day or two.

A word about the license: this package is `nosource', meaning that it
is supplied in binary format (a .jar file) and the source code for it
is not made available. This renders the software non-free in the sense
of the Debian Free Software Guidelines and many other free software
advocates. Please note, however, that the license *does* allow free use
and distribution of the software, but modification is generally not
possible. For more, see the following link.

Thanks for the contribution,

LogFilter is a program that monitors the logfiles TeX/LaTeX produces and
presents them in an interactive environment to the user.
The program lets the user choose which errors he cares to see. Furthermore
LogFilter integrates with your editor so that when pressing an error, your
editor will open the tex file and jump to the according line.

It should work on any sane OS with Java (or JRE) installed
