----- Forwarded message from Oliver Corff -----
Today, you'll find in the /incoming directory of ftp.dante.de the
following files:

1. ctib.tar.gz

The latest version of ctib, 0.6, has a greatly enhanced repertoire of
glyphs and more than a dozen new ligatures (Tibetan stacks), and a lot of
new punctuation symbols. More or less the whole Unicode range of symbols
is covered, too. The work is based on Sam Sirlin's Tibetan fonts.

Please note that upgrading to ctib 0.6 requires recompilation of old
documents as the font layout has changed.

ctib.tar.gz goes into CTAN:language/tibetan/ctib and replaces all previous
files completely.

2. montexivu.tar.gz

This latest version of MonTeX features many more Latin input encodings
(all those a standard installation offers), an overhauled documentation,
and, for the first time, experimental Unicode support for utf8-encoded
Mongolian.

Please note that upgrading to MonTeX IVu requires the presence of the
utf8 input encoding system and there the file uni-24.def, containing the
Mongolian plane (U+1800) of Unicode.

montexivu.tar.gz goes into CTAN:language/mongolian/montex.

3. montex.type1

A collection of Type1 outline files for the Mongolian scripts of MonTeX.
These allow the pleasant display of Mongolian and Manju in PostScript and
PDF documents. These fonts were contributed by Apostolos Syropoulos.

They should be placed into CTAN:language/mongolian/montex/contrib.

A detailed README file with instructions will follow later.

4. uni-24.def

The definition for plane U+1800 of Unicode, containing Traditional
Mongolian.

This file should go into the ../data directory of the ucs/utf8 input
encoding package (I happen to ignore where this is located,
unfortunately...)
----- End forwarded message -----

Thanks for the uploads. I installed the new versions of ctib and montex in
CTAN:/tex-archive/language/tibetan/ctib
CTAN:/tex-archive/language/mongolian/montex
as suggested.

And I installed the Unicode definition file in
CTAN:/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/supported/unicode/data/uni-24.def
(pending the inclusion of this file in Dominique Unruh's sources)
