Thanks for the update. I installed the files in

   macros/latex/contrib/parallel

Please note that this is a new location; the old one in

   macros/latex/contrib/supported/parallel

is no longer correct.

(The CTAN Team announced last week that the "supported" and "other"
directory will be deleted and everything moved up one level.)
