uploads at cambridge switched off for a month

i have suppressed uploads (both via ftp and via http) at cambridge,
until i come out of hospital some time around the middle of september
2003.

i apologise for the inconvenience, but i am comforted by the fact that
so few users upload at cambridge that the inconvenience is at least
strictly limited.
