----- Forwarded message from Walter Schmidt -----
I have uploaded the file epmtfe.zip to the /incoming
directory at dante.ctan.org. Please, delete all files
and subdirectories from the CTAN directory

	systems/os2/epmtfe

and unpack the uploaded ZIP file to this directory then.
(Please, do not unpack the enclosed archives.)

This is version 4.0 of the "EPM TeX Front End", a module
for the OS/2 "Enhanced Editor" EPM. It turns the EPM
into an integrated TeX environment, providing (La)TeXing,
previewing and executing of auxiliary programs from the
editor menu.  Remarkable features are:

* (La)TeX errors are highlighted in the document source;
* Postscript support (dvips conversion on-the-fly);
* optional TeXing of a marked region of a file;
* support for split source file;
* OS/2 shell and WPS interface;
* optional LaTeX syntax assist;
* additional user-definable menu items;
* works also in conjunction with VTeX/2;
* stable, reliable, and esay to use.

Two flavors of the TeX Front End are provided:

* "classic": for use with any TeX system,
  including emTeX and VTeX/2

* "VTeX": for use with VTeX/2 _only_,
  making the use of this system particularly convenient

Each variant is available with English or German user
interface.

Changes over version 3 are listed in the file NEWS.
Main items are:

* fully interactive configuration
  (except for the user-defined menu items);
* thorough "clean up" of menus, window titles and
  error messages;
* menu item to control VTeX's path cache;
* improved log file parsing facility,
  making use of VTeX's particular log file format;
----- End forwarded message -----

Thanks for the upload. I installed it as suggested replacing the old
version in CTAN:systems/os2/epmtfe
