i've installed a new version on ctan (help/uk-tex-faq) and on the web
(http://www.tex.ac.uk/faq).

during my time off work sick in the last two months, i wrote a few new
questions, and did fairly major tidying in several areas.  (it took
the mind off being uncomfortable for most of the time...)

i propose to do some work on the web server's performance (by using a
somewhat more sensible mechanism to generate html from the latex
source) before the next full release, so i may make minor content-
related releases between now and 2004.  (the existing texfaq2html
mechanism has persisted since 1995, when the faq operated on a web
server at the university of sussex.)
