The KOMA-Script team is happy to announce the June '04 
Release of the KOMA-Script bundle aka "nothing is perfect 
unless you define it to be".

What is KOMA-Script 
-------------------------------------------------------- 
 
KOMA-Script is a versatile bundle of LaTeX2e document 
classes and packages. It aims to be a replacement to 
the standard LaTeX2e classes. 
  KOMA-Script does not stop with the features known from 
the standard classes, but it extends the possibilities 
in order to provide the user an almost complete working 
environment.

What is new in this KOMA-Script release 
-------------------------------------------------------- 
 
One change in functionality of scrlttr2: 
  - \providelanguage, \newlanguage and \renewlanguage for 
    the language defined at \languagename (this is the name 
    of the current language using a package like babel) are 
    immediate. 
 
And some bug fixed: 
  - \parfillskip was 1em plus 1fil instead of 0pt plus 1fil 
    serveral times 
  - warning messages at scrlttr2 fixed (class name was 
    scrlttr) 
  - Footnotes at one line captions fixed

Removing any of the files of the distribution made by 
the KOMA-Script maintainers prevents the users from 
using the provided makefile mentioned at the 
installation documentation: INSTALL.TXT or INSTALLD.TXT.

previous version in CTAN:macros/latex/contrib/koma-script
