The `microtype' package provides a LaTeX interface to pdfTeX's 
micro-typographic extensions: character protrusion and font expansion.

 NEW:
 =====
 * new font sets: `allmath' and `basicmath' enabling
   character protrusion in math mode
 * protrusion factors for Computer Modern Roman
   math symbols
 * more protrusion factors for Adobe Garamond and
   Computer Modern Roman in TS1 encoding

 CHANGES:
 =========
 * if an alias font name is specified, it will be used
   as an alternative, not as a replacement
 * more tests for sanity of settings and whether all
   fonts will be set up
 * more robust parsing of sizes in font sets
 * more bug fixes
