A new package has been installed at tug.ctan.org and should soon make its
way to your favorite mirror.

Thank you for the contribution,
Jim Hefferon

======================================================================

The following information was provided by the package's contributor.

Name of contribution: xlop
Author's name: Jean-Côme Charpentier
Location on CTAN: /macros/generic/xlop
Summary description: xlop (eXtra Large OPeration) calculates and
  displays operations
License type: lppl

Announcement text given by the package's contributor:
- - ----------------------------------------------------------------------
xlop allows to typeset operation ``as in school'' or inline.
e.g \opadd{2}{3} give
 2
+3 or 2+3=5.
- - ---
 5
Furthermore, numbers could be very large, e.g 200 figures (with a
very long compilation time). Many other features allow to deal with
numbers (tests, display, some high level operations, etc.)

You can have a look at the package at
  http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/generic/xlop
although you may get a better network connection by visiting a mirror
of CTAN that is near to you; see
