Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An update to magyar.ldf (version 1.5) has been available since 2004
from http://www.math.bme.hu/latex/ . Although the update has been sent
to the Babel authors in 2004, Babel still contains the old, buggy,
incompatible version (1.4,
ftp://tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/macros/latex/required/babel/magyar.dtx ),
which not only fails to implement many typographic features required
by the Hungarian language, it also conflicts with many other packages
and classes, such as amsart.cls, graphics.sty and hyperref.sty. Hungarian
LaTeX users are generally happy with the new version 1.5, and most
can be solved by asking the user to upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5. See more
nfo about Hungarian typography in LaTeX in our TUG 2004 article (get
it from http://www.inf.bme.hu/~pts/ , search for TUG 2004).
