The following information was provided by our fellow contributor:

Name of contribution: verbatimcopy
Author's name: Lars Madsen
Location on CTAN: /macros/latex/contrib/verbatimcopy
Summary description: Small package to preform a verbatim copy of one
text file and save it in another.
License type: lppl (the documentation source is not available)

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package provides \VerbatimCopy{in}{out} that will enable LaTeX to
take a verbatim copy of one text file, and save it under another name.

Be careful when using \VerbatimCopy, it will overwrite the output
target without warning.

The package is based on an idea posted on comp.text.tex by Ulrich Diez.
