ePiX, a free (libre and gratis) collection of batch programs, creates 
mathematically accurate figures, plots, and animations containing 
LaTeX typography.  The output -- LaTeX picture-like environments and 
vector image files -- is expressly designed for use with LaTeX.

Version 1.2 has been re-written from scratch, mostly preserving the 
user syntax of Version 1.0, but providing many new capabilities.
