On Wed, 16 Jul 2008, François Charette submitted an update to the

  arabxetex

package, an ArabTeX-like interface for XeLaTeX.

This is a minor update. 

\textroman and \textlatin (which conflicted with beamer and babel, respectively) 
is now called \textLR. Support for DMG transliteration of Arabic is provided in 
addition to the Library of Congress convention.
