On Mon, 26 Jan 2009, François Charette submitted an update to the

package.

This package provides a complete Babel replacement for users of XeLaTeX.

  This is mostly a bug fixes release.
   * Captions corrected in Hebrew, Russian and Spanish
   * Removed all \text<lang> wrappers within caption definitions
   * Improved compatibility with Babel
   * New option "babelshorthands" for German
   * New option "Script" for Sanskrit
