Changes from the initial release:
- default mode changed from doc mode to jou mode
- added German language support (thanks to the input from a user)
- blank lines now permitted after subsubsection (and lower) sectioning commands
- lmodern and fontenc [T1] now loaded by default (can be disabled; see documentation)
- disabled the automated rotation of figures
- new class option 'noextraspace' (see documentation)
- other minor fixes
