On Wed, 16 Mar 2011 Martin Scharrer submitted an update to the

  texdef

package.

Summary description: Updated to v1.1: Support for special macros like \%, \{, \} and \\
License type: gpl

This update adds the following features:
  * Support for special macros like \%, \{, \} and \\
     which caused compile errors before.
  * Output goes now to STDOUT, not STDERR
  * The current working directory is now added to the TEXINPUTS 
     environment variable to make texdef load local packages.
  * Added handling of `\x at protect`
