On Tue, 10 May 2011 Pavel Farar submitted the

  paratype

package, which replaces the packages

  ptsans and ptserif

License type: other-free

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This package contains LaTeX support for the fonts PT Sans and PT Serif
developed by ParaType for the project "Public Types of Russian Federation",
and released under an open user license.

The fonts are included in the original TrueType format and converted
Type 1 format (as kindly allowed by ParaType). The fonts provide encodings
OT1, T1, IL2, TS1, T2* and X2.

The version of PT Sans is 2.003, the version of PT Serif is 1.000.
They are different and therefore I used the date of the creation of
the package as the version for the package "paratype".

This package was created by merging packages ptsans and ptserif.
It was suggested by Karl Berry, because I was usually updating both
packages at the same time and there were similar changes. The
fonts are designed to be used together and the maintenance
of one package will be easier. LaTeX sources that worked with
package ptsans or ptserif should also work with package
paratype without any changes.

Encoding files, map files, LaTeX files and documentation is now in
the directories "paratype" instead of "ptsans" or "ptserif". Other
font support files are in the same directories "paratype/ptsans" or
"paratype/ptserif" as they were in the packages "ptsans" and "ptserif".

This package is located at

. More information is at

(if the package is new it may take a day for that information to
appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org .
Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .

Thanks for the upload.
