This is a re-implementation of the braids package as a TikZ library using 
TikZ pics.  The original package (braids.sty) is included for backwards 
compatibility.  The capability is also extended with more style keys, more 
flexible "floors", and other improvements such as the ability to cross 
non-neighbouring strands.
