John H. Lienhard submitted an update to the

                asmeconf

package.

Version number: 1.27 2021-12-26
License type: mit

Summary description: A LaTeX template for ASME conference papers

Announcement text:
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The asmeconf class is a template to format preprints in the style of
conference papers published by the American Society of Mechanical
Engineers. The layout and reference formats follow ASME's style guidelines
as of 2021. Hyperlinks and pdf features are fully supported.

The class includes a modern BibTeX style, asmeconf.bst, that supports
online sources, URL and DOI fields, and follows current styles. This .bst
replaces the old asmems4.bst.

This update includes: fix bug for text case in captions; improved
compatibility with older LaTeX distributions (for pdfLaTeX, TeX Live 2016
or later should be used; with luaLaTeX, TeX Live 2021 or later); can now
switch to grid-style author block with a single package option; edits to
asmeconf.bst; and a number of other minor changes.
