texfot is a small Perl script to filter the online output from a TeX
run, attempting to show only those messages which (probably) deserve
some action. The TeX invocation itself remains exactly the same.

texfot is a small Perl script to filter the online output from a TeX
run, attempting to show only those messages which (probably) deserve
some action. The TeX invocation itself remains exactly the same.

This update appends the effective userid of the process to the name of
the file which gets the full original output, resulting in, e.g.,
/tmp/fot.1001 (envvars TMPDIR and TMP are checked, in that order,
falling back to /tmp). As has been the case since the beginning, this
filename can be overridden with the --tee option.

This program has no home page other than CTAN and no mailing lists.
