* hopefully corrected the long outstanding wrong behaviour of
    displaying visible spaces

* generalized the use of the linerange key

* introduced the key consecutivenumbers

* a pagebreak between a (top) caption and source code isn't allowed anymore

                 * the configuration files listings.cfg and lstlocal.cfg
                   are read with the correct catcode

                 * some documentation and layout enhancements.
